eFundi / Student password expiry
Please note that some login problems occur because your student/eFundi password may have expired. Your student/eFundi password expires every three months.

Visit https://efundi.nwu.ac.za
On the main page (before logging in), click Change Contact Details and follow the on-screen steps.

Microsoft Office 365 for students
Use your <studentnumber>@mynwu.ac.za email address and NWU password to activate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive.

STEP 1

Open Microsoft Word
Start the activation process on your laptop.

STEP 2

Click “Sign in”

STEP 3

Enter your student email address
<studentnumber>@mynwu.ac.za

STEP 4

Select “Active Directory”

STEP 5

Enter your NWU password
Use your eFundi / NWU student password.

STEP 6

Stay signed in
Continue when prompted.

STEP 7

Open another Office app
Teams, Outlook or OneDrive may prompt you to sign in.

STEP 8

Enter your email address again

STEP 9

Select “Active Directory”

STEP 10

Enter your NWU password
You are ready to use Office apps.
