Poverty is a state or a condition where an individual or a household within a community or society cannot afford live a lifestyle where basic needs  are catered for and overall wellbeing  is not sustained. In this state, financial wellbeing hinders the access to resources and equipment to adequate life leaving them to live a low quality of life.
