Musical play

Play is a fundamental way of learning, engaging both the intellect and emotions.

Musical play has 3 different plays, 1. Free play where children play anything they want to play freely. 2. Guided play refers to play where the teacher chooses specific materials which learners can play with. 3. Directed play involves the teacher instructing learners how to accomplish a given task. 

Then we have characteristics of play which are, play is personally motivated, play is active, play is is often non literal, play has no extrinsic goals, play supply meaning to play, play has no extrinsic rules, social play, play with objects. 

The educational outcome of musical play: Children learn movement, dance, storytelling, they learn how to play instruments. It teaches children a certain behaviour, moral and values.
