Week 1- part 3.

Gooodmorning LSKM family

The content of the study unit that I have gone through so far, is super interesting. To me music was all about the “good feeling, gooving beat”, but after going through this study unit, it has come to my attention, that the concept of music runs sooo deep. I believe that the concepts coming from the 3 theorists, Piaget, Vgotsky and Erikson, will be beneficial in my teaching and learning journey as Foundation Phase teacher. I also think musical development, strategies, in turn will enable be to maximize the opportunity of teaching and also turning learning time into fun time for the children that I eventually teach. I have also grasped the idea of the holistic development that music has on children.

Looking forward to the bagged knowledge and activities that LSKM holds for all of us.
