I don’t agree with this statement at all. I think that arts integration in the foundation phase is crucial. This allows learners to express their feelings and emotions. It also helps learners to get rid of negative feelings or emotions. I found the integration of arts in the foundation phase very interesting, because I’ve learned that it supports the academic achievements of the learners. I found the theoretical framework for arts integration in the FP difficult because all the terms are so closely connected and related.
