In the Foundation Phase, one of the most important things to include in the classroom is learning via play. Music bursts all areas of child development and skills to succeed in school, not only because the learners are engaged and learning is spontaneous and enjoyable, but also because it ignites all areas of child development and skills to succeed in school. The vocabulary, language capabilities, emotions, and social skills of the students are all improved. Working on my projects has taught me a lot of topics that I had no idea were important for Foundation Phase students. I'm not sure how to tell the difference between three and four beats, or how to teach it to kids. I'd like to learn more about this subject in this module.
I would make learners feel safe to live out their culture and do what they believe is correct in order to accept varied learner profiles in classes. I plan to have classroom conversations in which students feel comfortable sharing about themselves. Learners will gain a better understanding of their peers and will be able to appreciate them, while I, as the teacher, will gain a better understanding of where the children come from and how to deal with future scenarios.
