Good Morning everyone! smiley

This study unit 5 taught me the important skills of planning a well developed lesson plan and to always keep in mind to plan ahead and reflect back to the lesson to see if you didn't lift things hanging. it's important to include games, music and art integration when planning a lesson for life-skill and language activity's. In foundation phase teaching assessment and applying different teaching methods it's important when planning music and performing arts lesson, it gives more understanding when demonstrating based on the structure of the day.

Things that you need to keep in mind when planning music lesson.

-When introducing a lesson at the beginning and ending a lesson always involve ♬ musical instruments, rhymes and music to draw the interest and attention of learners during the lesson.

-Always involve learners in lesson by giving each one of them the opportunity to make sense of new concepts and new skills on their own and allow team work so that they can help and learn from each other.

-Always challenge your learners, ask questions that prompted them to find solutions and able to answer your questions.

-Guide learners in music listening- guide them to focus on the specific music elements in order to develop musical interests.
