Smash and grab is a social problem because it is the vandalising of some ones property that includes the disappearance of something that someone bought because they love it. an example is having to experience the smashed car window done by someone who tries to steal. this turns into a social problem because it creates an environment where people do not feel safe where ever they are this social problem is caused by someone who is less reliable to the community, by vandalising or smashing their assets because of jealousy or making extra money in order to smoke drugs. We cannot change this problem because it will definitely change People can only try and change themselves so that they can have a healthy lifestyle. Rape is one of the social problems because it is something that is done by force that damages one's mentality and future this problem is classified as a social problem because it leaves people with some memories that do not fade, that opens wounds of the victim that are being raped and it brings harm because many people are being raped and the number of the affected one grow rapidly leading into a society that portrays hatred for men this problem is usually caused by our brothers and fathers who do not have morals and respect. This problem can be solved by arresting all the accused and guilty people who are found guilty of the crime. Fast food is mot a social problem because its food that is being sold by our community in order to have money for their needs , this might be a social problem if it affects the health of people in society but it also helps people survive as it generates a source of income so people are able to provide for the basic needs as a result of a high unemployment rate  that leads to high poverty rates in the country people find themselves having to earn a living somehow and there for fast food creates that platform. the problem can be solved by reducing the sale of food that are high in oil content to avoid making unhealthy food that can affect peoples health negatively. HIV is a social problem because it kills people if they take too long without taking their medication, the causes are when people have unprotected sex without knowing one another's HIV status this can be solved by people having to ensure that they take their medication, accordingly and by co-operating with doctors and by stopping the spread of HIV.
