Hay everyone,
Back again with another blog.
Part 1:
o How are you feeling; how has your week been? – in general or just concerning your studies
Might sound funny but I am feeling pretty much the same as the last time a blogged except that I am way busier at work and kind of in some sort of routine with setting time aside each day to study.
o What inhibited your learning this week? Would you care to elaborate?
Deadlines. I have been more organized at checking deadlines and logging on to efundi.
Part 2:
o What new things did you become aware of when working through this study unit’s content?
How music can be used in other subjects to make the lesson more interesting and fun.
o What concept/element/idea was most significant for you in this study unit?
By using instruments in my lesson I could let learners have fun but also work it into my lesson in such a way that they are learning and having fun.
Part 3:
o Please refer to specific content-related question/s posted in the lessons for each study unit on eFundi (also included at the end of this document).
1. Music is not something I took part in at school and not something I have studied in-depth but I would say contemporary commercial music as it is attention-grabbing music that brings along excitement and concentration for what is going on.
2. Yes there were plenty of teaching strategies and lesson ideas that included music. Musical instruments are something you can easily make with simply a paper plate, popcorn kernels, and staples so even the less fortunate schools can try and incorporate music into lessons.
3. Nothing that I can think of.
Anyways,
Chat soon.
Bye.
