LISTENING TO AND RESPONDING TO MUSIC.

Good Morning everyone. I hope all it's well, This week it's being a very busy week with little time to relax and were we need to keep up with the due dates of all tests, forums and assignments in mind. but still we are looking forward and we are still standing strong  ☺

Part 1

I have learn about identifying, respond to concepts through music listening, movement , knowledge and development skills and knowledge in different music activities 9n the foundation phase. Through music, we can address learning strategies, cater all diversity needs and include learners with special needs and learning barriers. learners are encouraged to engage with each other. Engaging in music , they must hear sound, feel the instrument vibration, able to move to the beat or music, and see the instrument and look at all musical images.

As a teacher it is also important to learn about the background of your learners, knowing them will help you to know what they love and enjoy doing. Find out about their cultures, music, and dance this will boost they confident and it will show that you value your learners input. Learning what music learners listen at home , with their friends! what song do the enjoy singing? and we need to utilized these in our teaching- learning and assessment strategies and able to accommodate all learners needs and interest.

Part 2

In music and movement children dance, sing and move freely and they love to have fun, engage in social skills. Through music they develop listening skills and gives opportunity to imitate, respond and use body percussion in exploring the world. Physical development and coordination of learners are developed through movement.
