Good day everyone. My name is Carmelita van Rooyen, but most people call me Lita. Can you believe that someone who is currently studying to be a teacher and have a passion to work with children, can also enjoy working on a farm?

Well this is me. A third year NWU student who studies from home and believe it or not work from home as well. My dad is a farmer in Heidelberg, Gauteng. It seems that I have developed a love for working with animals and just breathing in the fresh air. It is hard for a student to get a good job with a good salary at a school. So the solution was to work for my dad on the farm and I have come to love it this last year.

I know some of you might ask why a third year student has this module. I can explain. I was doing so good last year. Got distinctions for almost everything. For this module we had one last assignment to submit. I accidentally submitted the wrong one and realized it too late. So here I am. Doing it all over again.
