Heyy everyone!
Is it just me or is it scary to think it is almost Christmas!!! We are almost 3rd year students.
LSKM really taught me a lot this semester about the development of learners in terms of music and making it part of the class and teaching methods and even how make it part of other subjects in a very fun way. This has made me look with other eyes to music in education and why it is so important. Being able to learn that music is a component in the learning process and developmental process.
Completing the blogs made me realize all the different types of people we have in our group and how each one incorporate, learn work and how each one makes an effort with the blogs. It helped me get new ideas of incorporating music and learn new ideas.
It was a challenge to summarize all the work because I found a lot of points really important and some points should be in each teacher to do, a teacher will only benefit for it and it will help them to become the best they can be. It will also ensure all the necessary work is handled and it is done correctly.
I would have liked it if there was a little more practical examples of what is learned and how to make it part but in a practical manner.
I really enjoyed that each student was open to opinions and content and all of them was ready to help and to answer questions.

Helloo everyone,
I hope you guys didn't have the blue Monday I had today. Hope all is still safe and healthy.
In study unit 2 I saw how exciting and enjoyable music can be. But to be honest all the work in study unit 2 is really new to me.
Music plays a really big and important roll in a leaners live from their culture to their needs. I found it interesting that you can start to move to a song when you don't even notice that you are moving. It shows what impact and roll beat, rhythm etc. plays.
With today trends and environment I think that contemporary music is the best option, it refers to modern and the current music. So, current commerical music is the music that is keeping up with all the new things and trends that is busy developing or that what is already going on. Learners will enjoy it more and know more about it because it already part of the things the know.
Yes, I really learned from this study unit. It had a lot of information that is really important to know. The part that stood out the most for me was the difference between the body, beat etc.
I don't think it is needed for the content to change. I found the content well-presented and insightful.

We have very similar viewpoints on this Study unit. I also felt that the content was very insightful.
I also feel that contemporary music is the way to go if wanted to incorporate in our teaching practices.
