Hay everyone,
Back again with another blog.
Part 1:
o    How are you feeling; how has your week been? –  BUSY BUSY BUSY!!! The past month has gone by so fast. I do feel like work is going well and with the help of study buddies, I am on track with all due dates.
o    What inhibited your learning this week? Would you care to elaborate?
My learning has been short periods and getting one task done at a time. I try and complete all weekly due dates before the weekend starts.
Part 2:
o    What new things did you become aware of when working through this study unit’s content?
The choice of music is important.
o    What concept/element/idea was most significant for you in this study unit?
Again, music choice.
Part 3:
o    Please refer to specific content-related question/s posted in the lessons for each study unit on eFundi (also included at the end of this document).

What possibly made some learners uncomfortable during these activities?

Type of music. Size of class.

Why were some learners uncomfortable?

They were not able to relate to the music because they did not understand the song.

Can you think of ways to address these issues in the future? What will you change?

Choice of music would be more diverse. Learners would get to choose which song they'd like to dance to and I would allow groups to be formed. if any child is uncomfortable, I would address the situation by taking them aside after the lesson and finding out what was wrong.

How can we accommodate diverse learner profiles in our classroom? What must we be aware of?

As the teacher, I will do my research to see what songs are currently being listened to in all cultures. I would make sure to use appropriate music but music that is of the new day and age in each culture.

That's it for me.

Bye.
