I am of the view that the  importance of music education in the complete development of young learners cannot be overstated. Unfortunately, the vast majority of  Grade R teachers lack the necessary skills to teach music in a way that best supports their students' overall development, as in most cases this component of their preservice and in-service training is ignored.

Individual reflection helped me recognize how far I'd come in a lesson while also allowing me to think about how I could enhance it. We learn from our mistakes and experiences. However, we will not be able to make any changes unless we ask ourselves about what our experiences imply and actively think about them. Individual reflection allows us to progress beyond simply experiencing to comprehending. I believe that reflection is a significant part of becoming a good teacher and may be quite beneficial. It allows a teacher to reflect thoroughly on their teaching, including what they do in the classroom, why they do it, and why it works, allowing them to discover any modifications or improvements that could be made.

All aspects of a child's growth and skills for school readiness, including logical, interpersonal, physical, communication, and total literacy, are inspired by music. It assists in the coordination of the body and mind. Early exposure to music assists children in learning the sounds and meanings of words.
