As we all come from different backgrounds and beliefs as well as morals which than shape us into being the people we are in society. therefore the way a person dresses, eats and even behave classify how that particular person grew up and carries themselves around society. however, speaking of what my teachings and beliefs consist of and how I believe they endogenous to my ethnic group. I would say firstly state that I am south African based in Durban and I'm Zulu of which as I am Zulu we tend to have many beliefs that can not only be statements but something that could happen to us and become true it's basically a fact such as the fact that in my culture we have a belief that if your upper right eye twitches you will see someone you haven't seen in a long time or even receive money and if you dream of red meat someone close to you will pass away. however, in Zulu speaking of the teachings it would be that if your parents or guardian teaches you not to look at another adult in the eye when being spoken to as it states a sign of respect and the teachings of being taught to obey the rules being told as they will groom me to be the women I will be in future. and these teachings have shaped me in a way that when people meet me, they look at me as a person with respect and morals as well as knows what they want in life because the way you carry yourself sets a message of how people perceive you in society or wherever you may go to.
