Stereotype is an often unfair and untrue belief that many people have about certain group of people or things.Our own assumptions and stereotypes can cause othering meaning create differences.

I once had this stereotypic idea that science students are more intelligent and more important than any other students.Representation played an important part in this stereotype of science chosen being superior.People think humanities is chosen by people who are less laborious,who are not studious and are not serious about their careers.While they say science is very studious,very difficult and is chosen by only good students those who are serious unlike humanities ones.However the stereotype is not accurate and in this manner it creates othering between science and other studies.While really the sciences and humanities might work together by using history from anthropologists or historians and scientific research from scientists to study human behavior.

Humanities is an eye opener to me.I am starting to let go of stereotypes and I am observing society,people around me,problems they face,how they live and lived before.I have attained some practical knowledge as it is a living subject.

According to me no stream is less or more than other stream.People should stop with this stereotype and being biased and we must not let out own assumptions create differences.
