Rite of separation 

I was woken up by a struck of light rays from the sun that caused me to open my eyes and they hurt a little. Hearing people talking, the stomping of people's footsteps on the hall way some even drag their feet, laughter everywhere I could literally hear my sister's contagious horrible laugh and I just smiled and chuckled. All that made me realize I have to wake up. There was going to be a braai but I was going to vaal farmers market. Gently I got off bed, played Beyonce's songs on my phone a did my bed. There after I prepared for a bath and while water was still pouring into the tub I added my bath salt and my good smelling vanilla foam. The vanilla scent filled the room and hit my nostrils. Getting in the bathtub felt like magic the water just soothed my melanin skin. After my well deserved bath I wore a flora dress with sandals and off I went to the kitchen.

Liminal phase

Got to the kitchen the kitchen greeted and went straight to my mom who served me porridge 'mabele' to be specific. I poured milk which ran around in the vowl and mixed well. There after I added butter that enhanced the taste and smell of the porridge, sprinkled brown sugar for the right sweetness. Had breakfast conversing here and then went to my room with my two sisters to helps me prepare. I wore my cargo dress with slip on my sisters then did my hair and makeup. Makeup on point with braids tied into a messy bun, I finished my look with a clutch bag and my journey scents mixed with dazzling diva perfumes. I look and smelled scrumptious and I left. When I got there I met my friends the vibe was nice, the food was so good from staters and drinking were just flooding in. I didn't know I could dance until that day. We learned that when you're in such wvents and you're happy you turn your torches from your phones on.

Rites of incorporation 

Around 6pm my friends and I went to our respective homes separately. When I got home the braai was still on so I just greeted and wished eve

everyone a goodnight, took a quick shower,got into bed and slept I was dog tired.
