Sotho believes that have shaped my worldview

The Sotho ethnic group is known for its important teachings, one of which is "Ubuntu," which means "I am because we are." The significance of community, connectivity, and reciprocal care is emphasized by this ideology. I learned from my upbringing that the general health of the community is closely related to each person's achievement and well-being. Ubuntu has influenced my perspective by instilling in me the values of empathy, collaboration, and helping others. It has affected how I handle leadership, relationships, and community involvement; it has made me realize how important it is to maintain social ties and to feel accountable to others.

Believing in my ancestors has taught me the importance of learning from history and appreciating the insight of our predecessors. It has taught me to value the advice of my elders, ask for counsel when needed, and recognize the need of maintaining cultural heritage. This idea has further strengthened the significance of keeping solid familial bonds and honoring generational continuity.
