Reflection of my Networks

My networks are mostly urban these include my employment colleagues, university mates and NPO mates. Having to come from a capitalist family, I am juggling school work, employment work and the Families NPO. Having that I am now In University I am able to contact my colleagues to assist me with my work that is due. Never thought that I'll turn out to live the life I promised myself not to live, sleeping for two hours like my Dad, working and studying at once. Finding myself under the operations management at the families NPO recently I am responsible for preparing proposals for potential sponsors and having to run the programme and collecting managing funds that go and leave the account, these might donations, funds from partners etc. With University mates I have found family and friends that help me with catching up with my school when I am really exhausted from working and studying at night. Sometimes I might be lazy to navigate the efundi website I am able to rely on them to keep me posted with what is due what to study. Having two of my friends in varsity Sinesipho and Vuyo these two individuals have been my biggest network entries in my circle. I have developed a sense of taking my responsibilities serious and managing my priorities. I relate to these two individuals as friends and self chosen family, my most reliable sources helping me find my way between employment and university work although I find it strange that they are not employed themselves. My employment network includes my sister as my boss and supervisor under operations management, Siyanda as my boss under the department of Audio and Visual. Dr Steven Zwane my dad is the founder of the family's NPO his my first NPO boss, having to retire that path was set for Faith Moeletsane who has taught me about how the NPO works, what is its purpose and its vision and mission. Having to be a part of this innitiative, not only as a volunteer I was taught how to speak in a bsuiness language and since business or entrepreneurship is a curriculum that is not taught in high school. This aided me to not only see entrepreneurship as a difficult path to learn but also view it as a career path. Have  you ever wondered how possible and interesting it is to teach or educate physical sciences students about business ? My colleagues under the Audio and Visual department are responsible for my training for film making, videography, video editing and photography. Having to no longer having direct contact with them, they have left me with a very valuable skill. As a musician this has a huge impact when it comes to this area of expertise " music production ", the impact is that I do not have to rely on other people to push my craft but be independent, because I will be able to shoot and edit my own music videos.
