In my own perspective stereotypes are a stigma or an exaggerated conception about a particular person or a group of people, on the other hand othering is the act of creating difference.
Since there are a lot of stereotypes surrounding particular people or organizations that tends to create difference because stereotypes have potentially powerful effects on how people perceive and treat one another sometimes respect lacks in this regard as a result this can cause discriminations, conflicts and it may even lead to racism.
There's a stereotype that males and females are not equal, well according to how I see and comprehend things I think that is true in a sense. I believe that both genders have specific gender roles I also believe that a woman can never become a man vice versa. Both these genders are different and I believe that they have different purposes from one another for instance women are nurturers everything they touch turns to gold and it significantly grows, women can create and sustain life they aren't meant for hard labour whereas on the other hand men are protectors, leaders and providers. Well some may argue that I'm traditional and that times have changed well I think that since we've diverted from traditional practices the world has degenerated into chaos. I think its an insult to even suggest that women and men can ever be equal, maybe in terms of the law they are but in general I certainly believe that they are not.
My conclusion about this entire motion is that people should embrace difference and the stereotypes around them because its embedded in humans to have opinions about something or someone without knowing the full story, life is tough and its survival of the fittest.
