Dear student

As you will be writing your examination at one of our sit-down examination centres, kindly take note of the following:

1. An SMS will be sent to you in due time indicating the venue where you will be writing your examination. A separate SMS will be sent indicating your venue for your practical examination (if applicable).
2. You will need to complete the Covid-19 pre-screening form at the gate to gain access every day. Alternatively complete the form online using the link http://diyservices.nwu.ac.za/covid-19-pre-screening-service
3. You will also be required to complete a register every day at the gate indicating your temperature and contact details for contact tracing purposes.
4. Please wear your mask (the required face cloth mask) at all times during the examination session.
5. Please comply to social distancing, both outside and inside the venue.
6. Please sanitize your hands when entering the venue.
7. You will be expected to complete the attendance register inside the venue for each examination session.

 

IMPORTANT: Second opportunity examinations

• Contact students writing a 2nd opportunity examination in July will need to come to one of the three campuses - no 2nd opportunity will be offered at any other examination centre or at any other time.
• Distance students do not have a 2nd opportunity in July but will be offered a 2nd opportunity at their selected exam centre during the October/November examination period, as usual.
