Welcome
LPRA 122 1-1 M 2019
WELCOME
Congratulations on making it to LPRA122.
We look forward to working with you this semester.
Before we kick off this module, it is important that we just get some of the practical issues out of the way. The first is that LPRA111 is the prerequisite for LPRA122. This means that if you have not passed LPRA111, you cannot be registered for LPRA122.
The second is that classes for LPRA122 will be conducted physically. You are encouraged, to go through the timetable and note down the venue for your class. To access the timetable, please go to the Student Academic Lifecycle Administration pages, then select the tab on Time tables and Assessment, then you click on the class timetable, lastly you click on the timetable of your own campus. You are therefore requested to make use of the timetable and note that punctuality is important.
You are expected to be punctual for your classes, therefore the classes for this module are scheduled two (2) classes per week, however, it is important to check your respective venues as they differ per campus.
Should you have any questions about what is expected of you (or even if you have any remaining questions from the previous week), you will be able to ask them during consultation session. During this contact session, you can ask your lecturer any questions you may have.
PC, MC and VC students are sharing a single eFundi site for LPRA122. The lecturers from each campus (Ntshwaki [PC], Molebogeng [MC] and Thabo [VC]) will be taking responsibility for different study units. However, you can always ask any one of us for help or information.
To help you familiarise yourself with how things will work in this module, we have created a module information tab. Please go through the module information tab during our first week of class. We will commence with Orientations as from the 17th of July 2023.
We are excited to go on this academic journey with you and hope that you will find the module both challenging and enriching!
Kind regards,
Ntshwaki, Molebogeng and Thabo
