Welcome to the CTL Academic Skills Development Self-Paced Workshops. The self-paced workshops on academic skills development aim to provide NWU students with the opportunity to explore popular academic advising topics in their own time and in their own space. The workshops focus on soft or transferable academic skills, including time management, academic writing skills, note-making skills, and critical thinking skills. Soft academic skills also include more personal and interpersonal skills like adaptability, communication, being independent, but also working effectively in groups, etc. |
