IS EDUCATION IMPORTANT OR NOT

on the last last we had a debate class where we argued about weather education is important or not important.many said that its important to be educated weather you are talented and what to go feather with your dreams of becoming what ever you`ve   always wanted to be.having qualifications is to back up you as to archive your dreams.

Others believed that education is not important as long as you know what you want and have a dream,as they made some examples of some of our local artist who are millioners today without education they are just high school drop outs but who would have thought they will archive with out a matric certificate and a qualification

Last weeks lecture was not productive as students came to class not prepared,that we end up not doing what we were supposed to be doing that day.Anyways i learned that it is important to come to class prepared.I have also learned how to write essays that your essay have to have a heading,introduction,body and conclusion.When we write essays we look for sources on the internet to support our point of view and that we there has to be a reference list for all the authors.

Topic:Writing awareness

• What I have learned about the topic?

*What I learned is that when you write an essay or an assignment there are steps that you need to follow and understand them accordingly.

• What I did or not enjoyed about the lecture?

*What I enjoyed in the lecturing session is that the lecture taught us the steps that we(students) should follow while writing.

2.Preview

Topic:Referencing

• What I know or learned about the topic?

*What I know about referencing is that when you reference you need to get the reliable sources that you can use to support all your statements you wrote about.

• What I did not understand or want to know more about the topic?

*The things that I need to know more about is the types of referencing and how do they work.

COMMENT:I think we should focus more on the referencing part because that will help us mostly on the Essays,Assignments and projects etc.
