What I have learned about the topic in terms of writing body of an academic text.

1. I have learned that when writing an argumentative text, a person must focus on one side of the story throughout the essay and be able to persuade the readers.

What I've enjoyed

I enjoyed when that late comer learner who handled the argumentative from the lecturer accordingly, persuading us to agree with her and ended up giving her a round of applause.

What I have learned about the topic

I have learned that when producing an academic essays,one had to have at least a main idea and a supporting source.By doing so one avoid to plagiarise author's main ideas or making them his/hers . Firstly students have to be taught about referencing and looking for different sources in order to support your own ideas, sources such as books ,articles,  newspaper, etc..

2.Preview

What I did not understand

I did not how to differentiate between different sources .I just don't get it correct , still don't know more about referencing and will like to know more on how to locate different sources and their creditability.

3.Comment

I did not enjoy the fact that all of us did not do our homework as was supposed to have been done. We are not meeting our lecture halfway by not coming prepared and doing what we was supposed to do.

I have learned about how to process information and also how to analyse the topic. I have also  learned that it is crucial to practice academic writing. I have learned the structure of an academic essay.

So far I havent experienced any problem with the lecture... I am fully attentively during the lectures
