REVIEW OF THE LAST LECTURE

In the previous class we didn't do what the lecture had expected us to do as we didn't bring the sources for our assignment to class. We then did a body plan for the 3 body paragraphs and the lecture corrected us.

PREVIEW OF THE NEXT CLASS

In the next class we are supposed to bring sources for the essay to class. We'll be looking at different source types(books ,journal articles, internet articles and interviews).We will also be checking if the sources are credible.

1.A review of the previous lecture

In the previous class we learned about processing information.We also learned about different types of texts namely:narrative,descriptive,expository and persuasive/argumentative texts.We also learned about the academic writing processing(generating ideas,gathering information, synthesise and structure,drafting,revising,editing and the final version.We were also able to come up with the topic for our group assignment and the lecture was able to correct us.

2.A preview of the next lecture

In the next lecture we will be learning about processing and producing academic information.We will also be looking at the credible sources in academic writting such as internet,articles,newspaper articles and interviews or observations.We will also be looking at understanding and identifying the differences between sources types.And also how to establish the overall aim of the assignment and to establish the purpose of the source of an academic assignment.
