Topic:

Processing and producing academic information- Finding sources.

What I have learned about the topic.

I have learned about the different kinds of sources (books, journal articles, newspaper articles, etc). I have also learned about locating good sources ensuring if the sourced are credible.

What I did or did not enjoy about this lecture.

I enjoyed working with my group and I also enjoyed the interesting ideas they come up with.

Processing information- using sources.

What I know or have read about the topic.

I have read about scanning and skimming information in texts in order to save time and find good and relevant sources. I have also learned about the paragraph structure and paraphrasing which I found very interesting.

 

What I did not understand or want to know more of about the topic.

I did not understand the paragraph structure and I would also like to know more about paraphrasing.

The AGLE121 is one of the classes I really enjoy and would never fail to attend.

Topic: Processing information-analysing the topic.

What I have learned about the topic.

I have learned to generate ideas,the analysis of information and to come up with our own topic. I have also learned the types of texts that we are going to use this semester(narrative and argumentative texts)

 

What I did or did not enjoy about this lecture.

I enjoyed the time we get to talk as a group and generate ideas together, have some small debates as a group and end up with an agreement.

I have read about different types of sources, checking source credibility and the purpose of integrating sources.

What I did not understand or want to know more of about the topic.
