Topic: Producing information -writing for academic purposes

What I have learn about this topic:

I have learn that an academic text should be formal, concise, logically structured, cohesive and coherent and grammatically correct expression of ideas or data.

I have also learn how to make your academic text be what I have stated above.

What I enjoyed about this lecture:

I enjoyed the activity that we were given of writing numbers in words. It refreshed my mind and made me remember numbers though I couldn't get them all. 

What I know or have read about this topic:

I now know what to be done in order to write a correct academic text.

Topic: Processing information- Critical reading

What I have learn about this topic:

I have learn that when we critically analyse an academic text we have to follow steps and ask ourselves some certain questions.

What I know or have read about this topic:

I now know that I must use direct quotation according to the Harvard method in order to provide evidence for claim.

What I did not understand or want to know more about this topic

I think I understand what I have learn in this topic.

What I have learn about this topic:

I have learn that there are strategies of reading of which i can employ to process my information.

What I did not enjoy about this lecture

What I did not enjoy about this lecture is that the time we were given to write a class activity was too short.

What I know or have read about this topic:

I have learn and I now know that skimming and scanning can save time and help me to interact with my sources more effectively.

What I did not understand or want to know more about this topic:

Paraphrasing is still giving me problems but i hope i will overcome those problems soon.

What I have learn about this topic:

I have learn that there are steps to be followed when writing any academic text.

What i did not enjoy about this lecture;

I did not enjoy working in groups because we were very few, many of our group mates were not present we were only two so the group work turned to a pair work.

What I know or have read about this topic:

I have learned how important it is to reference an academic text.

What I did not understand or want to know more about this topic:

Referencing methods are still confusing me. I still need to understand more on how do we see different between types of references.
