Arts intergration promotes active participation on both teaching and learning and in all other forms of learning like collaborative learning and problem solving skills. Arts intergration dies not only refer to active participation but it also includes intergration of other subjects in other words arts could be used to simplify learning in other subject for instance mathematics could be taught in a form of arts. What i have learnt is that art is very important in a foundation phase as learners get to express themself and as an educator it cab clear to you to identify the strengths and weakness of your learners from how the react to arts in your class. One other thing that i have witnessed is that arts intergration makes it posible for those shy learners to come out of thier closet because arts intergration requires active participants 

Playing is a vital part of child's growth. A child that plays becomes very active and gets to learn many things from others and it helps with self esteem. Playing is a vital element of learning as it involves mind and body. In early learning play promotes cognitive development and also social and emotional development. Hence in our culture they would say a child that does not play does not grow well. Playing also unleashes differnt capabilities or talents from individuals. There are three different types of play in children's culture which are traditional, original and open.

How do music games support holistic development.

When children are playing in the street they are doing it for fun however in the foundation phase games that are orchestrated by educators are not only meant to entertain leaners but it is to teach them while they are having fun. And this games are orchestrated in ways that it will stimulate children think critically and learn to solve problems

Music elements are like food in music. This reminds me of an animation called Ratatouille where Remy (the little mouse cook) tell his brother that in order to get a delicious meal you have to mix one flavour with another then u will get something extra special. Same goes to music in order to have fine tunes, musical concepts such as rythms, melodies beats, harmony and pitches have to come into one action to make one great sound.

Experiencing and facilitating music concepts through movements and songs and games

This is one activity that learners find it very interesting as the do less explanation and move a lot. Remember children are very active and at this stage they can only explain a little that is why during this stage children will use their body parts to identify the music elements. In most cases they will use loco=motor however its optional to use non loco motor. Song like "if you happy and you know it clap your hands" children will obviously use their body. While using their feet as a beat and thier hands as rythm

I have always been a fan of music i never had a favourite music i always listened to everything that makes sense to my ear. But since the introduction of this module. It has open up some abilities on me to know diffrent types of music elements. One other thing that i have learnt through this module is that music is made beautiful by mixing of elements. I have onced watched a movie ratatouille where the little mouse (Remy) explains to his brother why the food taste delicious, he said is from mixing one flavour wuth another. I have then recognised why people would say music is the food of your soul because of the elements that  are used 

Furthermore holistic development is referred to as a learning method which develop multiple aspects of the human brain. Hence children's abilities or talents can be discovered after musical or creative classes as this education can reveal the true potential of the children. As during this classes learners tends to show what they can do either by singing or dancing and at the end they feel free and be able to open up and reach their potential.
