Throughout this module i have learnerd  a lot of skills that i will be able to use in my classroom. Art and music can be used to learn more about my learners because it is a reflection of themself. Music can be used to teacher my learners dissiplen and how to follow rules. Using art and music will keep the lesson interansting.

When starting to plan a music lesson I think keeping the learners involved and active throughout the lesson. You must make sure that you make use of music throughout the lesson. Guide the learners throughout the lesson on what they must pay attention to and ensure that all the learners are involved in the lesson the whole time.

For me I see art as a way we can express ourself so to intigrate art into foundation phase is important  because by using art the learners are encouraged to  express their self through a picture. Me as a teacher can learn a lot by only looking at my learns pictures and it can assist me in helping them with their stuggels. I can also learnore about the learners  needs

In foundation play can be see as one of the most important  activities in the classroom. Each music game has rules and for me I feel that the learners learn dissipline and they learn to follow rules. I can also change the rules according to my learners needs and now the learners are forced to be creative in the game.  So for music play is important because the learner learn to be creative and follow rules.

Music is a way in which I can create a safe environment in which my learners can be their selfs and feel that they can express themself. Music can also help me to access my learners chidhood and problem to see what special needs each of my learners have.

In study unit one I descoverd that each child is unique and as a result you as teacher must deal with each child diffrently.  There are a lot of diffrent stages through which a child must go to be the best adult that they can be and we as teachers are responsible for the most important journey of the childs life. A child also develope in diffrent ways and there are four aspects in which they must develop.

Family is very important in a childs live and they must always stay part of the childs live no matter the struggels.

My name is Jome Vermaak, I am 21 years old and I am currently living in Swakomund Namibia. I am a distance student and are currently completing my practical hours at Pro-Ed Acadamy together with NAPSO. I am a very outgoing persons and everything a take one I will always give it my best all the way. My passion in live is defenitely teaching I see each child as a Challange and I always help if i can.

I am very excited for this new subject. I see it as a step closer to becoming the best teacher that I can be.
