Honestly it can be said that I learned a lot of knowledge that children can improve their eurythmy and athletic ability by being able to make music with their whole body and being able to sing songs and make sounds with their bodies (body percussion). I also enjoyed participating and learning how to make sounds in different parts of my body. In terms of skills, I learned how to make an instrument from recycled materials. Recently, I learned about different concepts of music, how they work, and how they differ.
As a teacher, the most important aspect to keep in mind is getting to know your student and knowing the student's level of ability, experience, interest, ability to work well in a group, special needs or accommodations and learning preferences. A lesson plan is a road map really of how the lesson should be conducted. As we all know before you even begin to play a lesson,it is very important to know the outcomes of your lessons or rather the learning objectives. A successful lesson plan focusses on the following components I've mentioned above.
Art integration is a pedagogy in which learners construct and demonstrate understanding through art forms. Students engage in creative processes that integrate art forms with other subject areas and respond to growing goals in both areas. Art becomes an access to and a means of teaching. Students have a dual learning objective as they engage in creative processes that explore the connections between art and other subject areas to gain a deeper understanding. This experience is mutually reinforcing and leads to a deeper understanding in both the arts and other fields of study. ArtsIntegration demands a way for educators to engage in professional learning of arts standards and reliably connect the arts to the curriculum they teach. • Illustrations help students develop creative problem-solving
Music play is important when it comes to activities. Because there are other factors that people should use when engaging in music and dance activities, this allows for different types of play, rules must also be followed, and there are three types of play. provided as
1.Play is active, when the player takes part on thd game.
2.Play has no goal reach so children play for fun not for reaching any goals .
3.Play has no rules, so learns come up with their own rules.
4.Children develop their own imagination during play.
Benefits of play include morality, behaviourism and mostly values which are very delicate in society, learners learn these values from one another and that builds their characters on who they become amongst their community.
Unit 2 focuses on the concept of music and the types of activities. We learned how music reacts to the concept of music and can cope with those differences by encouraging them to use all their senses when learning music.
The overall development content is long, confusing, time consuming and careful. children of all ages express themselves through music. Even toddlers wave, bounce, and move their hands in response to music. Many preschoolers compose and sing songs without prejudice against themselves during the performance. Elementary school children learn to sing together in groups, and perhaps play musical instruments. Older kids dance to the music of their favorite band, use the music to make friends and share their feelings. Try these activities and games with your child and experience the joy and learning that music brings.
