WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPOERTANT ASPECTS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN PLANNING FOUNDATION PHASE LESSONS

To achieve great things ,two things are needed a plan and not quite enough time.

Know your children: To plan for children ,you must first get to know them. You learn about their skills, interests ,and obstacles by observing them.

Plan range of activities: Keep in mind that your activities should be both fun and developmental, simple tasks such as tearing ,play dough and sticking can be provided. Creating playing and building are all ways for children to learn.

Be specific in what you wish to achieve: Consider what skills the kids are learning and how you can help them improve.

Set your plan on your paper: In schools they use different kinds of planning forms which include  date, duration,theme, objectives, teaching aids and method. In order to get children interested as a teacher you need to firstly come up with an introduction.

Be prepared for the day: In order for you to have everything in accordance, you need to arrive early so that you can focus on your pupils.

HOW DO MUSIC CONCEPTS AND RELATED EXPERIENCE RELATE TO LIFE SKILLS ,MATHEMATICS AND LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Music improves cognitive and non cognitive skills more than twice as much as sports,theater or dance.

Life skills: Pupils with emotional or behavioral disabilities can learn  and be provided with successful instructions. When children start music lessons they learn one of life's most important lessons.

Mathematics: Math will be more interesting and fun for children if musical activities are used to teach it ,use songs to help pupils skip counting ,multiplication tables and many other handy facts.

Language: Music aids in the retention of words and expressions in children. Children learning about it can raise awareness of distinctive sounds which is important in learning to read and to achieve fluency.

MUSICAL PLAY IN THE CLASSROOM

Music is a means of giving form to our inner feelings without attending them to events or objects in the world.

Children are unable to express themselves fluently in their speech or writing. Children express themselves through movement ,songs, and art, so it is only natural that they should learn through these mediums as well. Children's coordination improves , which aids muscle growth. As they run, balance and stretch, they begin to comprehend what their bodies are capable of. Children who may not have realized they have anything in common before they are brought together through music. Music aids in the development of youngsters. When young children are consistently engaged by music in an age appropriate socially accepting environment ,they benefit at many levels including social,emotional,physical ,creative quantitative and early literacy and of course they develop a lifelong love of music.

Music develops analytical thinking because it requires pupils to be more creative ,they have to apply the facts.

ARTS INTERGRATION IN THE FOUNDATION PHASE

Art education is a set of guidelines for using the language of art. It is critical for all students.

To improve the kids understanding and relationship with the world ,it is critical to cultivate and guide them through quality art courses. Pupils learn new things by creating art and they can then apply what they have learned in the classroom to their daily lives. Their mental processes change dramatically. Art classes are beneficial to a child's mental growth,when learning about the arts many areas of the brain are engaged and profound ,cognitive connections are formed. The  importance of art instruction in the development of children cannot be overstated. Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. Art education is critical for helping learners to develop creativity,critical thinking, and problem solving abilities. There is no depth to  education without art.

Art can transform lives, it gives us the power to question, to confront ,to explore and to challenge how we think about the world.
