WE WERE BORN AT JOHANNESBURG AND MOVED TO A SMALL VILLAGE CALLED CHOSENG IN TAUNG WHERE WE LIVE WITH OUR DEARLY GRANDMOTHER. I AM A YOUNG LADY WITH BIG DREAMS AND VERY CONSISTENT IN LIFE. CREATIVITY AND STRICTNESS ARE MY THINGS BUT BEING PASSIONATE TAKES THE CUP. I LOVE SELF-MOTIVATION AS NOT EVERYONE WILL UNDERSTAND MY BATTLES. I AM VERY SUPPORTIVE, CARING AND LOVING TEACHER. WHY DO I WANT TO BE A FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER.

It is always a pleasure to work with young minds, there is a sense of peace when one interacts with children. I am passionate about kids and i would do whatever it takes to see them taking right choices in their lives and going forward. Promoting a child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth is an important element of being a Foundation Phase Teacher. Teaching children the fundamentals of reading, writing, and literacy is a fascinating and gratifying undertaking. I would like to be in charge of assisting children in the development of their thinking abilities.

I am  looking forward to studying  this semester and gaining more skills with LSKM221. I realized that the module is about music and  music has always been my painkiller, so  about music and how it relates to classes or how it works with education / curriculum. I want to learn more. 

 I am interested in dealing with learners of different learning styles and how they learn from music. 
 Being happy at work and loving what you are doing will improve your productivity  and  performance. I am optimistic and motivated, always enjoying all my work to  learn faster, reduce mistakes and make  better business decisions. I always show my passion for work honestly, recognize that I am contributing, and strive to be happy even if I feel sick. 

 This semester's goal is to understand all learning units. It is to learn and raise the passing score. I am a person who is always ready to take on any challenges that I may face in my life. Everything in life  always happens for a reason, and it is your choice how you attack the situation. Remember to keep moving forward with hope and trust, as  you have to start with small stones  to move the mountain.

I have gained a lot of knowledge related to music pedagogy throughout this semester. For example, music can be taught  using stable beats, rhythms, pitches, timbres, and dynamics. Therefore, music has taught me  to distinguish between the beat of a song and the various musical elements, whether it is a pitch or a moving beat. I never thought that incorporating art and music into the classroom would have a huge impact on learners. Based on everything you've learned  in this module, you've gained new knowledge about music education and  lesson planning. I got an elementary school student. Music is very important during the start-up stage as  learners participate in authentic and fun lessons. I learned of the knowledge that I can make music with body parts such as hands and thereby promote eurythmy and athletic performance. I also learned that you can  use recycled materials without having to buy an instrument. Recently, I learned  about different concepts of music, how 
 works, and the differences. My attitude towards the concept of music has changed.

What did you find challenging?

Incorporating music into other subjects and developing music games that teach learners the concept of music has been difficult.

Did you find the individual reflections valuable?

Yes,  the individual reflection  phase is useful because it allows students to make informed decisions about learning or to answer questions  outlined in set learning outcomes and goals. I found out. These include  personal personal experiences, emotions, events and  things that happened in my life, such as what I will do  in the future, who is my role model, the best thing that has ever happened to me. What would you change if you had the opportunity in future?

I’d change how I look at music because I thought music was easy and not that important in the foundation phase but it’s actually harder than I thought and very important in lesson as it has many benefits.

What did you find interesting and meaningful?

Good collaboration with my group members, brainstorming, brainstorming, and developing a game that teaches learners the concept of music was interesting. The lesson plan outlines the games / activities that everyone in the classroom needs to perform, giving learners the opportunity to work on music and actively listen  to, move, create, and play music. When developing a basic lesson plan, teachers need to make sure that the class is fun, attracts the learner`s attention and completely attracts the students.  At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher  must first confirm the learner`s prior knowledge before introducing and explaining the topic.   Classroom learners have different learning skills and styles,  interests and socio-economic backgrounds, so teachers find ways to manage and respond to all of them, and all learners are safe and loved.  You need to create a classroom environment that you feel.

Observations help you  learn about their skills, interests, and  challenges.  Daily observations of the children should be incorporated into your plan, and discussions with other employees are also  helpful.  Plan various activities.  Children learn through the process of making, playing and building, not the final product. Use the materials provided to give children the freedom to create.  We provide diversity so that  children  can choose the activity that suits their needs.  If you find that certain children are often seen at knitting tables and avoid more complex activities.  Instead of forcing the child to participate in other activities, teachers need to watch carefully and find out why this is happening.  Planning is essential to ensure that children`s learning is effective and that they are making progress.   Don`t forget the "moment to be taught" When kids are excited about  school cats and kittens, you  need to set your transportation topic aside  and focus on your pet for today maybe.   Preparing for the day Prepare everything  before your children arrive so that you can focus  on them.  Think about the skills your children are learning and build on those skills.

 The teacher can focus more  on the children and less on the equipment.  If an illness occurs, it is easy to replace the teacher instead of the day when the written plan is available.  When teachers get together and plan for next week, teachers can  share resources so that schools can limit the educational resources they need.

Value of utilizing arts integration and play in foundation phase lessons

Incorporating art into curriculums in areas such as mathematics has been shown to improve comprehension and memory retention and develop creative problem-solving skills.   Through the arts, we can develop an educational and learning environment in which individual learning needs are encouraged to show understanding.  You can also design integrated educational and learning activities that enable different ways of dealing with  new knowledge and skills.  The Arts Education Partnership (AEP) has found that including art in a regular student curriculum improves language development, reading comprehension, and math scores.

In short, Arts Integration is magical and can stimulate learning and create sparks for every child.  Imagine the difference in a child`s learning experience when a class teacher incorporates art into the  lesson.  The arts provide a platform through which teachers can tap into a child`s creativity and humanity while teaching content material.   Incorporating music is beneficial to both teacher and student as it strengthens the bond between them through a (hopefully) mutually satisfying aesthetic experience.

Has my perception and priorities with regard to lesson planning and the inclusion of music throughout my teaching changed?

Yes, the integration of music and art plays a very important role for the learners in the class. It helps learners show their understanding of the lesson through art. The integration of music and art at the founding stage encourages learners to actively participate in the classroom and also helps to develop social and creative thinking skills. The inclusion of music also motivates learners to learn. Learners can also engage in genuine and meaningful education in a fun way.

 I thought it was difficult before delving into the learning materials that provided information about planning music and art lessons, but now I have a clear understanding and know that music can be put into the basic phase of inclusion. Incorporating music into the basic stages of education is easy, and music brings harmony to the classroom environment. After all, art improves academic performance and inspires children to stand out in and out of the classroom. Therefore, music and art encourage creativity by developing innovative skills when children are encouraged to express themselves and take risks in the creation of art and music.

We know that music ignites all areas of child development and  school preparation skills, including intellectual, social emotions, movement, language, and general literacy.  Exposing children to music in the early stages of development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.   Languages: Music can help children learn words and expressions  more effectively.  Musical rhythms and repeating patterns of songs help children learn words.
