South Africa is a country with many rich diversity. South Africa has many ethnic groups. I belong to the tsonga ethnic group. As a tsonga person there are many teachings/beliefs to us as a community. Since there are many I chose two which are Ubuntu or humanity and spiritual beliefs
Growing up as a tsonga person I wad taught Ubuntu from a very young age. Ubuntu or humanity emphasis on relationships within the community, mutual respect the older person should respect the younger person, it is believed respect goes both ways and helping each other. As a tsonga person I view the world as a system that needs each part to fully operate.
Spiritual beliefs are common among the black south african ethnic groups. As a black tsonga person I have spiritual beliefs like ancestors and Christianity. Some people only believe in ancestors while others believe in Christianity. I believe in both Christianity and ancestors, as a result i view the world like it has two realities.
