The danger of the single story 

Stereotype  

I grew up in a small village where people have defference ways of of living and also defferent believes.Many people were saying if you are a boy you have look after cattle and do outside chores at home .They also believe that if you a girl you have to do inside chores like cleaning,cooking,washing e.c.t .At some point i realize that was not true because everyone can do inside and outside chores that means there's no seniority and defferent in boys and girls.

C.NGOZI make it clear that stereotype is not that they are untrue but that they are incomplet they make one story become the only story.
