I am proud  to be a member  of xhosa ethics group,  ihave been

shape by a good tapestry  of the cultural  teaching  ans beliefs.

Today  I would  like two endogenous  teaching  that have

Significantly influenced my world view.

1. Respect  for the nature and ancestors

One of the most teaching  in Xhosa  culture  is that Xhosa Respect

The nature and ancestors.

We believe  that our  ancestors  spirit  reside in the natural  world around

us like in the forest, mountains and graveyard  this beliefs

in us is the Respect for the environment.

As Xhosa culture  we believe  on this family  is important  motrethan

anything  you can't  do anything  without family.

Xhosa  culture  is very supportive  culture  and we Respect

elders .

When you are young  to the older person

It's  I must you must Respect the person  even if you don't  know the person

In our culture  it's a sin to date your cousin  of family  members

It's very  embarrassing in the family because  family  we ate blood sisters and brothers

 The power  of community

The second  teaching  us is that has shape my worldview

is important of community.

In Xhosa culture  we have a say that " Umntu ngu mntu

ngabantu",which translate  a person  is a person  through  other people.

This beliefs  that our identity  is interviewing with  our

Community  we are taught  to value people  in our culture  in mutual

Respect  and united.

This shape world view  by the important  of relationships and community

Engagement.

These  two teaching  Respect  for the nature and the ancestors  power of community

have  not only shape my world view  but also guide my actions and decisions.
