Othering and exoticization has always been an issue in today's world. As a student who comes from the rural  areas I have always stereotyped people from the urban areas as arrogant people who are more focused on materialistic things ,status and they do not know anything about culture. Now that I moved here I have come to realize there's more to urban people than we ,rural people portrayed.

Even THE DANGER OF A SINGLE STORY by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on the TED talk emphasizes the the risk of relying on a singular narrative to understand a person or culture because that could lead to stereotype and limited perspectives.

 As CHANGE YOUR CHANNEL by Bart Williams emphasizes the importance of reevaluating our perspective and embrace diversity. We should challenge stereotypes and shift perspective  to inspire positive change in society .Changing a channel  offers an opportunity for new perspective, fresh content.
