My Thursday morning started bright and early at 05:00 am when my alarm woke me up. I got dressed and started walking from the residence to the gym with my friend. We attend a Zumba class every Thursday at 07:00 am, which is such a fun way to start your day and get the endorphins going. After dancing to fast-paced aerobic music we headed back to our residence and quickly showered and I got ready for my sociology class.
My Thursday class schedule is always very busy and most of the time also very boring. My friend surprised me with an iced coffee while we walked to the next psychology class. We discussed how we were going to do our psychology project. With all the work that needs to be done, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed but I make a habit of it to remind myself that everything will be okay and to time manage.
After my last class, I headed back to the residence to make myself dinner, which was sweet chili chicken with vegetables. It is important to fuel myself so that I have enough energy to tackle the rest of the evening's tasks. I washed my dishes and walked to the library, where I met my psychology group. We worked on our project for two hours and could luckily get a lot of work done. I then walked to the gym again to get my last workout done for the day.
As I walked back to my residence, I really appreciated the silence on campus and was able to clear my mind after the long day. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. I showered and made myself a nice cup of tea while talking to my mom on the phone. For the last two hours before bed I worked on my sociology assignment and did my planning for the next day. It was such a relief to finally get in bed at midnight and get some rest.
