Religion- Religion plays a huge role in the way I view the world. I would like to say I try and live by the Christian religion and believe. This not only shaped my beliefs and actions but my ethnic group as well because we try and live as close to our religion as we can.

Morals- The morals and norms that where taught to us by our parents that shaped the way we developed as humans play a role in how we view the world. The people with the same ethnics and morals of you will view the world in the same way that you view it. The morals I have and my effect it has on how I view the world is positive because my morals are socially correct.

At the core are my family members, forming the backbone of my support system and social connections. From parents to relatives and close friends, each plays a unique role in shaping my experiences and perspectives. Exchanges within my family transcend mere transactions, encompassing emotional support and shared experiences, whether it's a comforting embrace or heartfelt conversation.

In my professional network, comprised of colleagues, mentors, and acquaintances from diverse backgrounds, exchanges revolve around knowledge, skills, and opportunities. Collaborations on projects, seeking advice, and networking contribute to personal and professional growth. Reciprocity is key here, as I offer assistance while seeking guidance, fostering mutual respect.

In the digital realm, social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn facilitate connections worldwide, enabling the exchange of ideas and experiences. Whether sharing articles or celebrating milestones, social media maintains bonds despite physical distance.

Additionally, I engage in communities based on shared interests, like sports teams or hobbyist groups, where exchanges range from practical help to emotional support. These communities foster reciprocity, as members contribute to shared goals and initiatives.

Reflecting on my networks, I appreciate the diverse exchanges enriching my life, from familial love to professional growth and community engagement. These connections weave the fabric of society, reminding me of the importance of nurturing meaningful relationships for personal and societal well-being.

Adichie’s TEDTalk emphasizes the relying on one narrative. It underscores how our training data molds our worldview. If we limit ourselves to one perspective, we risk oversimplification and distortion. Adichie’s caution against reducing Africa to a singular story of hardship and struggle serves as a vital reminder. As I engage with information, I must avoid pigeonholing people based on incomplete knowledge.

Parody, can expose stereotypes and challenge assumptions, an example of this can be seen in Wianiana's "How to write about Africa" with all the chlice and the stereotyping of Africa.

Horace Miner’s take on American culture in “Body Ritual Among the Nacirema” is a wake-up call.  The Nacirema’s bizarre rituals, such as brushing teeth with magical potions is different from our behaviours thus we stereotype them.

In Bart-Williams’ TEDTalk she urges us to change our channel for a more diverse perspective.
