Today was hotter than six shades of hell. I decided to open up all my windows to feel the gentle breeze and as the wind was howling for its dinner, so was I. As the day was coming to an end, I then decided to prepare a light meal for dinner. While I was busy cooking the lights went off, LOADSHEDDING! It suddenly slipped my mind that my windows are still open, so I rushed back to my room with my flashlight on. I opened my door pointing my flashlight against the wall and saw a huge Lizard shadow. My heart started racing and I blew a gasket ! I went ahead and grabbed my broom in one hand and my shoe in the other hand. As I attempted to trap the lizard, It ran away and I lost sight of it. Here and now I am sitting in the dark busy searching on the internet "how to get rid of house geckos". 

Yup, you guessed it right, I have a phobia of lizards. While scrolling on the internet I discovered that this phobia is called Herpetophobia. I also learned that seeing a lizard means something new is coming into your life or good fortune. Well I certainly do not feel lucky today.
