Not only Africa has a negative stereotyping, but it also accounts for positive stereotyping, yes you read that right!  

African people are believed to be more athletic and rhythmic. Africa is believed to have a repetitive pattern of music sound that is unique from the face of the Earth. Having sounds such as melody, drumbeat and also natural phenomena such as the beautiful weather you might get in Africa only. Positive stereotype itself seems so harmless deceiving people of what really makes Africa beautiful.  

Positive stereotyping acts against diversity. As a large group of people, societies, economies, and households are believed to have the same stereotype. Similarity which brings me to what I have learned from the works of Wainana (2005). Africa has diversity. it is diverse in terms of behavioral activities related to triumphs, respect values, approval, societal norms, language, the beautiful dressing of Africa, African culture, and music that sounds so swiftly even though most people wouldn't understand what is being said in the music.  

It is imperative not to use stereotyping in Africa as it would be irrelevant. Even with the Beautiful diversity we have in Africa, the rest of the globe exoticizes Africa namely for its impeccable natural resources and the potential power it represents. Suppose Unleashed from the chains of stereotyping, stigmatization, imperialism, connollyalism, and Eurocentrism. The Western countries are afraid that Afrika will tap into its true power and evolve to be the greatest continent, emerging like an underground rapper. Therefore, for the Western countries to continue their frustration with imperialism in Africa. Stereotyping that Africa is poor, corrupted and deliberately falsifying information about Africa so that Africans would not notice and know their power they have.
