teachings that endogenous my ethnic group, that shaped my worldview.

Community interconnectivity:

I was raised in a culture that values community ties highly, thus I was instilled with the idea of interconnectivity at a young age. Every member of my ethnic group is deeply knit into the fabric of the society. Our happiness, sadness, succeeds, and failures are not just personal; they are communal experiences that impact the group as a whole. Beyond relationships with immediate family, this interconnectedness also includes neighbors, other relatives, and even strangers. Decisions are therefore rarely made in an empty environment; rather, they are carefully considered with the community's welfare in mind. This established feeling of community solidarity and the inherent value of empathy and collaboration in overcoming life's many obstacles have given me a sense of obligation to others.

Cultural Respect and Harmony:

The need of promoting harmony despite differences and the respect for cultural variety are two more core lessons that are deeply rooted in my ethnic group. Our culture, which is rooted in a complex system of rules, rituals, and traditions, honors the diversity of human experiences and viewpoints. Every aspect of our cultural legacy, from religious customs to delicious meals, is valued and proudly preserved. The concept of respect, both for one's own cultural identity and the identities of others, is fundamental to this ethos. This ethos is more than just tolerance; it is a sincere admiration of diversity's beauty and a dedication to promoting understanding across cultures. Being surrounded by such ideals as a child developed in me a profound appreciation for cultural diversity as well as a belief in the transforming ability of communication and respect for one another to heal divisions and promote an inclusive community.
