1. This study unit focuses on understanding the origin of the universe and why Earth supports life.
It explains the Big Bang Theory, which suggests the universe began as a hot, dense point.
The universe has been expanding ever since, leading to the formation of galaxies and planets.
Cosmic microwave background radiation provides evidence of the Big Bang’s early heat.
Redshifted galaxies further prove that the universe is still expanding today.
The abundance of hydrogen and helium also supports the Big Bang Theory predictions.
Earth is known as a Goldilocks Planet because it has conditions “just right” for life.
Its distance from the Sun, liquid water, stable climate, and atmosphere make it unique.
The unit shows where we fit in the universe and why Earth is special among planets.
It also stresses the importance of protecting our planet to sustain life in the future.

2. I enjoyed learning why they named Earth the Goldilocks Planet. It made me realize how unique our planet is for hosting life. It just right for sustaining life.

3. The difficult aspect is the scientific aspects that support the Big Bang Theory. It’s the cosmic microwave background radiation and the redshift, which are really complex.
