MY LAST BLOCK EXPERIENCE

My experience through this semester  i have learn a lot, learn how to engage working with group, being committed  to my work, gain knowledge and to be independent to my work, also learning how to reference as a first year student ,how to write essay, even tough it was difficult to work with group members but i have gained to be patient and committed, last but not least my lecture play an important role in my academic work, taught us to know different things we did not know. I enjoyed being in the class of Mrs Keabetswe it was very interesting and fun indeed.

REVIEW: PROCESSING AND PRODUCING ACADEMIC WRITING.

I  have learned about writing essay in academic way, introduction, body three paragraph and conclusion.

Learned about critically compared text with opposing points of view and main ideas from text.

what did i enjoy: what most i did enjoy it was interesting day of debating in class whether man are trash or not, some they did agree but some did not agree about the topic.In my opinion not all man are trash some they are faithful and caring.

what i have learned about the topic:

I have learned about the effective academic writing and identify the process of academic writing.

Learn about different types of text.

What i did or not enjoyed about this lecture.

I enjoyed everything about the lecture and i have understood everything.

2.Preview: Unit 2.

TOPIC:Processing and producing academic information- finding sources.

What i know or have read about the topic.

To recognise the importance of using sources when writing academically.

To distinguish between different types of sources as evidence and understand how and where to locate appropriate sources.

To demostrate an ability to establish the credibility and trustworthiness of sources.

What i did not understand or want to know more of about the topic.

I did not understand the referencing strategies in terms of in-text referencing and so i want to learn more about it and have a better understanding,
