1. What possibly made some learners uncomfortable during these activities?

Learners have different home languages, cultural backgrounds, and religious beliefs. They were engaging in a traditional Zulu and sang in Zulu.

2. Why were some learners uncomfortable?

They were not happy to use Zulu and dance in front of boys.

3. Can you think of ways to address these issues in future? What will you change?

By using English to accomodate everyone and ask learners to use their different languages when they sing and dance in front of the class. For example I grouped Zulu learners into 1, Pedi learners into 1 group and so forth.

4. How can we accomodate diverse learner profiles in our classrooms? What must beware of?

I should be aware that I teach different learners and I should try to accomodate them by using their home languages when I communicate with them.
