I am so excited to be doing this module and to know more about hostilic development.

I can't wait to learn what i will apply to my learners in two years time. Teaching foundation phase learners is one of the best things cause you learn new things about children everyday.

The building blocks of music are known as music elements

we also have music notion which are pitch, rhythm,harmony, timber and beat.

Pitch is how low or high a piece of music sounds,Rhythm is a regular pattern repeating pattern made up of different length of movement or sound, Harmony is when two or more notes are played at the same time, Timber is a sound characteristic that allows you to distinguish separate instruments when they are playing at the same pitch and rhythm and Beat is a constant and regular pulse that may be heard in music melodies.

Experiencing and facilitating music concepts through movements , songs and games

learners mostly listen to music so that they can bee able to recognize various music aspects.learners can also demonstrate any music concept that they have identified using locomotor or non locomotor motions . learners can demonstrate the difference between between while walking to the beat and clapping the rhythm.

How do music concept relate to life skills , mathematics and language education

music aspects such as steady beats, rhythm and melody are used to to tech spatial characteristics , sequencing and counting in mathematics. using musical activities to teach arithmetic will make learning more entertaining and appealing to children while it also improves improve their cognitive thinking.

to play is a crucial in learning because it allows students to engage their minds as well as their emotions.play is a way of life that needs openness and desire to try new things.

Another educational purpose of play is to teach children healthy and societal habits,attitudes and values.

play promotes cognitive development , physical development, social and emotional development in the foundation phase class.

play helps children to do better in socialization , cognition and movement, than those who have fewer opportunities in engagement.

importance of games in culturally diverse classroom

learners should work together so that the game can be fun and successful. they will develop a sense of belonging and will feel that they are given a chance to be free and to be whoever they want to be.play has an impact that is calming.learners can work through their own personal things through playing and imagining.

Study unit 4 ART INTEGRATION 

Learning and teaching practices allows learners to be able to demonstrate what they have learned as concepts through arts integration.  

Arts integration is a teaching style that stresses active learning and engagement in the classroom. It allows encourages learners to work collaboratively together so that they can achieve better. When we apply art integration in the classroom we have to get learners in activities that will require them to look on what they already know with the aims of knowing new concepts and skills and to know their practical way through arts. By participating in authentic activities ,foundation phase learners can can internalize new skills and knowledge. Learners are going to benefit in arts integration because it allows them have priorities. 

I found interesting about arts integration is that its learning system uses creativity and that makes a level of personal connection in the classroom. It also allows teachers to be able to encourage their learners so that they they can do better and teachers also gives them the support that they need. When foundation phase teachers involve art in their lessons, they need to make sure that this will help learners in many different things and also with their non_arts outcome. 

I found theoretical work difficult for foundation phase because in  most cases it can be difficult to understand or to demonstrate
