Firstly a teacher needs to consider the age and grade of the learners they will be teaching.

Assessments that will be given to the learners should  be suitable for their grade and she, inclusive and beneficial.

The teacher needs to consider the appropriate  teaching strategy suitable for foundation  phase.

Do something fun before introducing the topic it could be a song or a game that is related to the upcoming topic.

Utilizing arts integration  and play weights so much value because firstly it promotes cooperation  among learners.

Arts integration  boosts the holistic development of a child be it physical, emotionally or personally. 

Children are able to foster relationships,learn about taking turns and they may even begin to realize their strengths  and weaknesses.

I believe that the inclusion of music and arts throughout teaching and learning  is much beneficial and should be included on a daily basis.Music and art carries alot of value, it improves active engagement in teaching and learning

Art integration is an approach to teaching in which learners construct and demonstrates their understanding through an art form, it supports all learners including those with disabilities. Art integration for me is not a waste of time for foundation phase but rather a useful tool which could help build self-esteem of learners , could promote communication, teamwork and cooperation among learners. Learners are able to discover  both their strong and weak points.

What did you find interesting?

I have found it interesting that learners are able to learn outside the teaching and learning environment which is something that art integration offers. Learners could learn using found instruments, they can learn through music, dramatizing and drawing. I found it interesting because from the videos I have watched learners get excited when introduced to new things and ways of learning they become active rather that they do when just sitting and watching the teacher teaching all day.

What did you find difficult?

The only thing I have found difficult is integrating art in a math class. I just couldn't understand how one could do or come up with ideas of integrating art in a math lesson but I think watching more videos will help me understand better. 

Firstly i would like to talk about music as a whole which helps 

Stimulates the brain and fosters memorization  skills.Music concepts helps children

Learn patience while learning.Music improves language capabilities of young chilfren, they tend to have greater understanding of the tone and how different sefments of speech align.

Maths

Musical concepts in mathematics enhance rhe child's

ability.Learning rhythm is responsible as maths involves how usual patterns work together.

Numbers are very instrumental and influence the length of musical interval,

rhythm,duration and tempo.Through music concepts learners

are able to practice counting by playing keyboards  scale or even play beats of the notes.

Language education 

Musical concepts are to be found with greater pronunciation  of sounds

of the second language. in most cases music is introduced to teach and

improve vocabulary and strengthen the child's language skill.
