WHAT IS ART INTERGRATION
Art intergration- is when the arts are used as a device or strategy to support other curriculum areas, but there are not objectives in the art form explicitly being taught. For example, using music to teach letter names and sequence in the alphabet is an arts enhancement. Music is used as a means to other ends, but students are not usually expected to learn about melody, musical concepts, or singing skills. Arts-enhanced curriculum acts as a “hook” to engage students in learning other content and educators need little or no training in the art form.
IMPORTANCE OF ART INTEGRATION.
- Working in the arts helps learners to develop creative problem-solving skills.
- Teaching through the arts can present difficult concepts visually, making them more easy to understand.
- Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness.
- Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work.

Craftsmanship integration coordinates with a subject to meet a certain outcome. We can achieve craftsmanship integration through visual arts which encourages talking and tuning. We can also achieve it though dramatization in which learners are encouraged to participate and imitate a certain character with a dialogue of course

Study unit 3 highlights the importance of melodic play in developing stages of the children. Learning music in developing ages is advantageous as it increases the ability of the child to read and compose. Specialists figure that learning how to read and compose music is as vital as it makes the child cognitive development stronger. Learning music develops the sense of confidence in a way that learners will be able to perform without much of showing fear in front of a crowd.
