Overview
Welcome to ALDE 111
This site has been specially developed for you, our new NWU-student. The ONLINE part of this module, as well as ALL TESTS AND ASSESSMENTS for this semester will be run from this site. All study resources and study materials will also be uploaded HERE. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you understand exactly how to navigate this page, before attempting to start with any of the work.
We would like to suggest that you familiarize yourself by clicking on the Start here tab on the left-hand side of your screen (if you're on a PC), or under the "Tools" menu (if you're on a smartphone or tablet).
Here you will find instructions on how to make the best possible use this specific site (there's even a video you can download if you're struggling). In addition to this How-to-Guide you can also expect to find the following:
- Prescribed material (including the workbook and reference guide)
- Work schedules
- Assessment plan (tasks contributing towards your marks)
- General communicative arrangements
Only after familiarizing yourself with all of the details, materials and information you need to navigate the semester through this site, are you ready for your first bit of work.
