Welcome to PSYC 221

Positive Psychology: An introduction

Psychologically healthy people are mostly at peace with themselves and other people, they can master life’s challenges and cope with the stress that comes with living, they find pleasure in work and in nature and they have found purpose in life and spiritual well-being.

The overall aim of this module is to familiarize you with psychology’s newly emerging focus on psychological health and well-being, and with some of the features comprising psychological wellness. We hope by completion of this module you will have gained exciting new insights into your own psychological well-being and that of other people.
